Saturday Night At The Movies:  Our movie for August will be the 1986 Rob Reiner film Stand By Me. Join us August 12 at 6:00 PM in the teen Sunday school room. Starring Will Wheaton, River Phoenix, Keiffer Sullivan.

In a small Oregon town, a group of friends are in search of a missing teenager's body. Wanting to be heroes in each other's and their hometown's eyes, they set out on an unforgettable two-day trek that turns into an odyssey of self-discovery. Filled with humor and suspense, Stand by Me is a rare and special film about friendship and the indelible experiences of growing up.

Rated R for strong language.

Labyrinth:  A labyrinth is not a maze. There are no dead ends or ways to get lost, no high walls, no tricks. It is repetitive walking path on a level ground that allows you to slow down, to reflect, pray, sing, rejoice, think, cry, contemplate, sort out a concern or simply to be open to the Divine.  You will have the opportunity to experience this process Oct. 8-14 and Dec. 3-9. Think about stepping on the path.
