    Sunday Morning Adult Forums
    These are held between the early and late worship services during the school year. We generally meet in Morrison Hall. On special occasions, however, we may meet in the Commons or the Nave. Our 2018-2019 schedule will be posted soon.

    Monday Night Kerygma
    Monday Night Kerygma meets every Monday evening at 7:00 pm in the library and usually finishes about 9:00. We meet year round except for holidays. Click here for more details about our class and what we are currently studying.

    Wednesday Morning Kerygma
    This group meets at 10:00 a.m., in Morrison Hall on Wednesday mornings at the Church during the school year to study and discuss various topics and books. The summer reading assignment is, “Dreamland,” by Sam Quinones. You can find the 2018-2019 schedule here. 

    Men’s Group
    The Men’s Group meets at St. Matthias every Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m., for one hour in Morrison Hall. The group reads and discusses books of a religious and spiritual nature.

    Movie Nights
    This program, which is generally offered on the second Saturday night of each month, shows a movie and follows it with a discussion. The movies will be secular in nature, but our discussions will explore the religious and spiritual significance of the films. You can find more information about our movie schedule here.

    Book Clubs
    There are currently two informal women’s Book Clubs which meet once a month during the day. There is also a Coed book club which meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m., at the Church. Parishioners are encouraged to form groups of interested members.

    The Church Library
    The Library is maintained under the Adult Education Commission to ensure the availability of Christian education books and other materials, all of which can be read and checked out by parishioners.
