St. Matthias!
WHO ARE WE?
We are a diverse group of people with a common goal. That goal is to be positive builders of God’s Kingdom as we seek to make an authentic, impactful difference in the world and our community.
We are a vibrant, welcoming people – genuinely welcoming all. This welcome is without exclusion, without exception.
We offer opportunities for ongoing learning and growth throughout everyone’s spiritual journeys. These opportunities are offered through a variety of programs. From our youngest onto those for our children and youth, for intergenerational classes, ongoing adult education, book studies, even special Advent & Lenten series – the list is lengthy.
WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
The Episcopal Church believes in the primacy of Scripture and the importance of Holy Communion as foundational to our Christian hope.
We believe Jesus is the Incarnation of God who lived and died and rose again to eternally unite humanity with God in order that they may never again be separated from God’s unconditional love for them. We believe Jesus to be our Savior.

HOW WE TREAT OTHERS
We believe that every individual is a beloved child of God, unique in his or her talents and ministry- and that together we are the Body of Christ. Every member is valued, respected, and needed.
At St. Matthias, we don’t just want to go to church, we also want to BE the church! We believe we can make a difference in our community. We believe we are called to be the bearers of light and love, to serve, as Christ served us.
TO WHAT DO WE ASPIRE?
We aspire to be authentic. We aspire to remain relevant. We aspire to offer a place for faith and worship that will provide people a place for fellowship, a place to ask hard questions, and to explore without apology. We hope you will find St. Matthias to be a place to be curious about life, faith, and the ways we live our lives combining the two. We aspire to be here for you—to provide spiritual nourishment and support for your journey, for your seeking, and for your ministries.
